MARKERS OF THE ‘ACTIVENESS’ LINGUISTIC FEATURE IN THE LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY STRUCTURE OF THE POETIC TEXT TRANSLATOR
Abstract
In the article, through the analysis of practical examples of semantic transformations carried out by O.M. Somov in the process of translating the G.G. Byron’s ‘Darkness’ poem, the types of transformations that are markers of the ‘activeness’ linguistic feature in the structure of the linguistic personality of the aforementioned translator are disclosed. The analysis is carried out on the basis of a semantico-structural approach. The concept of V.V. Bogdanov is chosen as a basis to determine the tools needed for the analysis.
