NEUROTROPIC ACTIVITY OF THE EXTRACT OF NARROW-LEAVED CYPRESS (CHAMAENERION ANGUSTIFOLIUM D.) IN AN IN VIVO EXPERIMENT
Abstract
The article examines the effect of an extract from narrow-leaved cypress (Chamaenerion angustifolium), growing in the mountainous territory of the Republic of Alanya, on the psychoemotional background of white laboratory rats using experimental behaviors. A single administration of the test solution led to a decrease in the level of fear and anxiety in the rats of the experimental group, which is confirmed by a change in a number of behavioral characteristics.
