It analyzes the socio-economic, cultural and natural factors that contributed to the development of such practices as "ashar", "zhardam" and other forms of collective support. The study is based on ethnographic, historical and folklore sources, which allows us to identify the role of mutual assistance in maintaining the unity and survival of Kyrgyz society in the context of a nomadic lifestyle.
