IMPROVING THE PROCEDURES FOR ASSESSING THE FORMATION OF STUDENTS’ COMPETENCIES IN THE COURSE OF INDEPENDENT WORK
Abstract
The article raises the problem of improving the procedures for assessing the formation of students’ competencies in the course of independent work of students. The essence of the concept of assessing the formation of competencies is revealed with reference to the criteria: significance, scientific reliability, compliance of the content of tasks with the level of the current state of science, representativeness, complexity and balance of the content of control tasks. The most effective tools for assessing the formation of students’ competencies in the course of independent work are shown: a project, an essay, a portfolio, a test.
