FORMATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL READINESS FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION OF EMPLOYEES OF MINISTRY OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of psychological readiness of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for resolving conflict situations. The object of the study is the psychological readiness formation process to resolve conflicts of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The subject of this study is psychodiagnostics as a mean of psychological readiness formation of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for applying the cooperation strategy in conflict resolution. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that we made an attempt to consider and analyze the readiness to resolve conflict situations within a cooperation strategy as an individual mental state of a person on the one hand, including employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the other hand. To achieve this goal, we used some methods of empirical research. In particular, we used the method “Style of behavior in conflict” (K. Thomas, adaptation by N.V. Grishina), the method “Personal aggressiveness and conflict (E.P. Ilyin and P.A. Kovalev), the method “Diagnostics of readiness for negotiating and resolving conflicts” (V.I. Andreev). To establish statistically significant differences, we used the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U-test for two independent samples, the nonparametric Student’s t-test for two dependent samples.
