OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FORMATION OF LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE LESSONS
Abstract
The article reveals the problem of the development of linguistic and cultural competence in the process of teaching schoolchildren in the German language lesson. Based on the experience of leading methodologists and materials of modern research in the field of language, the scientific and theoretical basis of the study is being built: definitions of such concepts as communicative, linguistic and cultural competence are given, the foreign languages learning content as a methodological category is explained, based on the Federal State Educational Standard, as well as the principles of selecting the content of teaching schoolchildren. In the practical part of this article, the country studies component, which is one of the main components of the content of teaching a foreign language, is characterized and the method of presentation of linguistic and regional material is presented. The article used the principles of a systematic and holistic approach to the study of the above-mentioned phenomena, a descriptive method, studied the teaching experience of advanced teachers, and collected the data obtained during the study. This article is empirical.
