THE DESCRIPTIVE WORDINESS OF FAULKNER
Abstract
The article is devoted to the importance of interpreting fiction. The authors consider the possibility to attribute the process of appreciating and interpreting fiction to creative process on the basis of the analyses of Faulkner’s unique way of telling the story through visual images. Thus, the authors focus on the basic concept of the classical interpretation of the text – the hermeneutical circle saying that the interpretation depends on understanding.
